Core Values

We set high standards for all our pupils, both academically and personally, to encourage them to become the very best that they can be. They thrive on these challenges and gain self-esteem by meeting the targets set by the school and taking pride in their achievements.

We encourage basic good manners, which so often we find lacking in today's society. Who can fail to be moved by a simple "Thankyou" or finding the door held open for your entrance.

At Grosvenor, we want our children to lead by example. It is very important for them to understand their responsibility to the community, which can be shown by demonstrating consideration, courtesy and respect to all those around them.

Our dedicated staff also lead by example. Their love and passion for their subject is infectious and helps to kindle a lifelong love for learning in their pupils. In the future, an ability to adapt and be flexible to change will be crucial to continued success, and that will involve updating and learning new skills throughout life. Enjoying the journey is key.

Sport is an important part of our curriculum. Taking part in a team event teaches the valuable skills of cooperation, leadership and sportsmanship. It can also build confidence, develop friendships and promote a feeling of wellbeing.
