What has been going on?

On Friday 25th Yr 5 held the first ever Yr 5 café in Grosvenor school's history. The Professional 5 star chefs cooked the delicious home made food! The café was open the business at 8.00 with many customers waiting outside anxiously waiting to see the superb food! There was a wide selection of food all looking very tasty! Some of the food included Sausage rolls, chocolate cookies and of course traditional flapjacks and much much more! The food sold really well for the causes such as the Macmillan Nurses who kindly help people with cancer. Yr 5 are sure everybody enjoyed the event and can't wait for next year's French Café! The Total amount raised was a staggering £175!!!

Many Thanks to Yr 5, Miss Sheen, the Parents who served the hot chocolate and of course the customers!

This café was no ordinary café for Year 5 supplied the food after Miss Sheen, our form teacher, found out that we were such good cooks!

We were very successful with all of the variety of foods. Ranging from sausage rolls to a World War 2 recipe to pizza.

All the money raised went to a good cause - the Macmillan Nurses. The grand total for the Yr 5 café Grosvenor was £174.19!!!

Well done to everyone.
